Description
Releasing one's self to the wind.
This one is mostly based on different works of Catalan modernism and the Italian "Liberty" style, which were both localized off-shoots of the Art Nouveau style.
A mix of 3DCG and digital painting. I've been wanting to include people in my works for a while, even though I am not great at drawing them, and this is the first result of that.
The result of the great snow storm of 2010! I was stuck at home for many days snowed in, and unable to go to work or class...with nothing to do but work on this image...well, it was a good excuse to anyways. So what better to do than paint blue skies.
I may be submitting this one to somewhere "big" in the near future, so any suggestions of ways to improve it would be greatly appreciated.

I love this! And I love the title. Visiting Parc Guell is definitely on my bucket list, and even though I am not familiar with the Italian "Liberty" style (will have to check it out), I can see the influences of Catalan modernism here.
The title of your piece is what first drove me to it.
