Something I did about a month ago for a newly opened rooftop nightclub in Beirut, called Funktion Rooftop Beirut.
It is one of 4 animated scenes that I created, along with adapting a wide variety of kinetic effects for VJ use.

The scenes and effects are massive animated panoramas, they were projected on a 3-wall wraparound screen that is approx. 200 feet wide, 10 feet high.
I will post some pictures and videos soon to illustrate it.

The resources of time were limited so three scenes are based on reworkings of some previous work. Though they put a bit of a new spin on things, hope that you will enjoy it. I will soon upload a sample of the animation.

Thanks, as for this it is not drawn but done in 3D.
With some small exceptions, everything in this scene is based on a real building as is pretty common in the work that I do.
So the key in this case is to get good reference images, research examples of different architects, styles of architecture, cities etc. that I like, and choose a few examples as buildings or elements of a building. In my case mostly I have a never ending love of Art Nouveau and its various regional offshoots.
Lately I have just been making things up from scratch but they tend not to turn out as well architecturally I think.
